1. Minimize data
If you’re working with a limited amount of data on your phone or tablet data plan, you can adjust the quality of your streaming.
Log into Netflix on your mobile or desktop browser, go to: Your Account > Playback Settings > Manage video quality, and set it to the lowest streaming quality (480p).
2. Unblock movies while abroad
Free apps like “Hola” can unblock content so that it can be watched anywhere in the world.
These keyboard shortcuts work for Netflix:
F = full screen
Shift + Left Arrow = rewind, Shift + Right Arrow = fast-forward
M = mute
Up arrow = volume up
Down arrow = volume down
Enter = play/pause
Page Up = play
Page down = pause
ESC = exit full screen
4. YouTube movies
Find full streaming movies that aren’t on Netflix, on YouTube.

Liking the Netflix Facebook page will keep you updated on when new movies and shows arrive on Netflix.
6. Enlarge subtitles
You can enlarge or minimize subtitles by going to: Your Account > Subtitle Appearance
7. Advanced search
If, for whatever reason, you’re looking for a very specific type of film on Netflix, you can search it by taking advantage of the service’s invisible categorizations.
