Check out the trailer for the upcoming “Mad Max – Fury Road.” The fourth film in the “Mad Max” franchise, the story follows Mad Max (Tom Hardy) as he tries to escape his past and survive alone in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Instead, he meets Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron) and five women who escaped their captivity in the Citadel by the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). Mad Max finds himself helping the rebels to flee across the Wasteland.
Led by Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron), Mad Max and the rebels are drawn into the ensuing Road War after being pursued by their enemies. In their cruel and violent world, Mad Max and Furiosa must team up to defeat the gangs of the Citadel and escape the desert to freedom.
The trailer is amazing, and it looks like the film is going to be huge!
Directed by George Miller, “Mad Max – Fury Road” will premiere at the 68th Cannes Film Festival on May 14, and is due to hit cinemas on May 15 2015.
